Terms and Conditions of Use – Flexhour

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the Flexhour mobile application or website (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use Flexhour.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. By using Flexhour, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.

2. Account Registration

To access and use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account by providing:

• A valid email address
  
  

• A secure password
  
  

• A profile picture (optional but encouraged)
  
  

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Core Functionality and Location Data Requirement

Flexhour’s core functionality is based on real-time location data to match tasks with users in proximity. For this reason:

• We require access to your precise location (via GPS or network-based services) during use of the app.
  
  

• The app will not function if you do not grant this permission.
  
  

• Location data is only collected while the app is in use, and is not collected or shared in the background or when closed.
  
  

• The location data is used to:
  
  

  • Show available tasks within a 50km radius
    
    

  • Display distance between users and task locations
    
    

  • Enable real-time matching and task management
    
    

If you revoke location permissions, you will be unable to view or post tasks.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Platform only for lawful purposes.
  
  

• Not impersonate another person or use a false identity.
  
  

• Post truthful, clear, and non-misleading task descriptions.
  
  

• Refrain from posting inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content.
  
  

• Honor task agreements and engage respectfully with other users.
  
  

5. Payments and Fees

Payments between Task Posters and Taskers are processed securely via integrated third-party payment processors. We do not store full credit card information.

You agree that:

• You will pay all applicable fees for tasks you post or accept.
  
  

• Payment disputes are subject to mediation and, if necessary, resolution through our support team.
  
  

6. User Content and Communication

By submitting content (e.g., task descriptions, messages), you grant Flexhour a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute such content solely for the operation of the Platform.

You agree not to:

• Post copyrighted or trademarked material without permission
  
  

• Spam or harass other users
  
  

• Use the platform to promote illegal activities
  
  

7. Data Use and Privacy

Your use of Flexhour is governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and share your data, including precise location data. Key points:

• Your location is only accessed while the app is in use.
  
  

• You must allow location permissions for the app to function.
  
  

• Data is shared only with parties necessary for app functionality (e.g., other users for matching purposes, payment processors, etc.)
  
  

8. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms or our Privacy Policy
  
  

• Engage in fraudulent, harmful, or inappropriate behavior
  
  

• Use the Platform in a way that disrupts our services or harms others
  
  

You may also request account deletion at any time by contacting support@flexhour.online.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flexhour and Meaningful Technology UAB shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  
  

• Lost profits or business interruption
  
  

• User-generated content or interactions
  
  

• Delays or failures caused by external systems (e.g., internet, GPS, device settings)
  
  

You use the Platform at your own risk.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we encourage users to contact our support team for resolution. If unresolved, disputes shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and submitted to the competent courts of Vilnius.

11. Modifications to the Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the “Effective Date” above. Your continued use of Flexhour after changes means you accept the new Terms.
